COVID 19 Precautions

To ensure the health of our patients, employees and the broader community, John Largen and Associates, Inc. has taken a number of steps in response to the Coronavirus (COVID 19) outbreak to follow CDC guidelines, including social distancing, wearing masks, hand-washing, and use of hand sanitizer our office.

Our office remains open for business and we take the concerns about corona virus very seriously. We see only 1 or 2 patients per day and we clean all patient surfaces twice per day down to the test materials, pencils, and clipboards. If you feel ill, have a fever, or have been exposed to a known COVID 19 infected patient, we ask that you to cancel your appointment and we will re-schedule you as early as possible in the future. Facts About COVID 19

COVID 19 is a global pandemic that has greatly impacted the world. It is important to stay informed about the facts surrounding this virus in order to protect ourselves and our loved ones.

Here are some key COVID 19 facts to be aware of:

1. Transmission: COVID 19 primarily spreads through respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs, sneezes, talks, or breathes heavily. It can also spread by touching surfaces contaminated with the virus and then touching the face.

2. Symptoms: Common symptoms of COVID 19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, body aches, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, and headaches. Some individuals may experience mild symptoms, while others may develop severe respiratory issues.

3. Prevention: Practicing good hygiene is crucial in preventing the spread of COVID 19. This includes washing hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, using hand sanitizers with at least 60% alcohol, wearing face masks in public settings, and maintaining physical distancing of at least 6 feet from others.

4. Testing: COVID 19 testing is an essential tool in identifying and containing the virus. Testing options include molecular (PCR) tests that detect the virus’s genetic material and antigen tests that detect specific proteins of the virus. It is important to follow the guidelines and recommendations of healthcare professionals regarding testing.

5. Vaccines: Vaccines have been developed and are being administered globally to combat COVID 19. These vaccines have undergone rigorous testing and have been proven safe and effective in preventing severe illness and hospitalizations. It is recommended to consult with healthcare professionals to understand the vaccination process and its benefits.

6. Variants: COVID 19 variants have emerged, which may have different characteristics, including increased transmissibility. Ongoing surveillance and research are vital in understanding these variants and developing appropriate measures to control their spread.

Remember, staying informed and following public health guidelines are critical in minimizing the impact of COVID 19. Together, we can work towards a healthier and safer future.
